“The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo is terrific. In this brutally warm, dry year, cooler sites such as those used for this bottling benefitted from their protected locations. In the glass, this is deep and beautifully resonant. I would drink it ahead of many Barolos and Barbarescos.”

This small estate is located in Monforte’s Perno district, just opposite vineyards that belong to Rocche dei Manzoni and Mauro Mascarello. Paolo and Ileana Giordano farm five hectares of vineyards, half near their home and half a bit lower down the road.”

Vinifikationen er klassisk med 20 dages maceration, 6 måneders lagring (halvdelen i ståltank og halvdelen i brugte 10 hektoliters egetræsfade) og endelig 6 måneder på flaske inden frigivelse.
